About Ping
Phinthone Senesombath, aka Ping, is a Laotian tattoo artist and a multi-medium disciplined, self-taught artist living and working in Hickory, North Carolina.
Phinthone has been creating art since her childhood. Throughout her life she has always worked in some form of art career. She has been tattooing since November 2018.
Phinthone is passionate about art and how it affects people. Tattooing is one of the ways for her to connect with individuals, to give them permanent art that is always with them. Seeing her clients ideas and having them come to life on skin takes a lot of trust. Learning about the client and what makes the design important to them makes Phinthone feel honored to be given the opportunity to make a difference in their life. She opened her private studio, Bodhi Joi Studio in 2022.
